The Bone Collector (DVD) Film - A Classic Mystery Thriller Movie

The Bone Collector is a 1999 mystery thriller film based on the crime novel written by Jeffery Deaver. The film stars Denzel Washington as Lincoln Rhyme and Angelina Jolie as Amelia Donaghy.

According to the games story, Lincoln Rhyme is a quadriplegic ex-forensics expert is saved from the brink of suicide by a patrol female cop, Amelia Donaghy who is in need of his expertise to form a psychological profile of a serial killer. The killer disguises as a New York taxi driver, who abducts and kills those who get in his taxi. When the killer kills his victims, he has the habit of removed a bit of flesh and bone from the body of the victims and leaves a scrap of paper at the scene. The first two victims for the killer are a married couple named Alan and Lindsay Rubin, followed by a NYU student. Then the killer sets to kill a grandfather and granddaughter, but luckily granddaughter is rescued by Amelia.

With the assistance from Rhyme, Amelia collects all the evidences from the crime scene and frames out that the serial killer is Richard Thompson (Leland Orser), an ex-forensic cop who is waiting to take his revenge over Rhyme. Amelia rushes to save Rhyme, but Richard arrives at Rhyme's house before Amelia, killing Rhyme's nurse -- Thelma and Captain Howard Cheney, who is a medical technician and takes care of Rhyme's medical equipment. Now, he moves towards the bed-bounded Rhyme. Can Rhyme be saved from the killer? Why does the killer want to target Rhyme?
